Polyurethane on cast iron is the most versatile and cost effective industrial wheel on the market. Trew’s polyurethane tread is liquid cast and chemically bonded to a Class 30 solid web cast iron center. The tread is resistant to most chemicals, protects floors, is quiet, has great load bearing, wears like iron, and is non-marking and non-sparking. The wheels can be equipped with a variety of bearings including the easy rolling ball bearing setup. We offer a very large selection of sizes and bearing combinations. Standard Polyurethane

Made from Caster Concepts standard durometer 95A polyurethane is easily identified by its maroon color. Wheels are available in a standard profile thickness as well as heavy duty (H.D.) 1 inch thick tires providing increase maximum weight capacity. Sealed precision ball bearings for the lowest rolling resistance for ergonomic applications. Roller bearings when a low-cost anti-friction bearing is required. Tapered bearings for applications where towing and capacity are present. Delrin bearings for wet applications where light loads and infrequent movement is present; Oilite bearings for low cost friction bearing where heat, moisture, infrequent movement or lighter loads are part of the application.

PY/PH Polyurethane on Cast Iron Core

Composed of a polyurethane elastomer, open cast or injection molded, on clean, close tolerance cores. Polyurethane tread is chemically bonded to a cast iron core. High capacity polyurethane protects floors, is non-marking and delivers quieter operation than standard metal wheels.

Moldon Polyurethane Cast Iron Core

A strong, ultra-durable wheel. It has a very high strength-to-weight ratio and is capable of long service under heavy loads. Red polyurethane is bonded to cast iron core.

  • Temperature range: -45°F to +180°F.
  • Hardness: 95(±5) Durometer Shore A scale. Finish: Silver paint (wheel core)
