Straight Roller Bearing and Retaining Washers

Line drawing (below) section view shows typical wheel hub construction with sealed straight and tapered roller bearings. Note spacer tubes are used with tapered roller bearings which increases hub length 1/4" and facilitates proper loading of cup to cone. For non-sealed construction, seal is replaced with retainer and flinger washers.

Hollow axles have zerk fitting for lubrication and solid axles are without lubrication fitting. All axles come complete with lock nut. Consult factory for optional slotted nuts and lock pins.

All spanner bushings are hardened to form precision inner race for roller bearings. Except as noted by "none", all spanner bushings are cross drilled for lubrication through hollow axle. Thrust washers are hardened. They are not part of the spanner bushing assembly and must be ordered separately. Thrust washers are not required with ball bearings, 2 piece delrin bearings, or with combo washers.
