Expertly designed and engineered by Hamilton, Series 7200 gives you a standard line of casters with pneumatic rubber-tired wheels dually mounted to provide higher capacities. They were created to meet growing demand from applications like ground support for the aircraft and aerospace industries, construction or other outdoor uses, and shock protection for heavy equipment.

• Swivel Construction - all models have drop forged steel mounting plate and horn base, with integrally forged kingpins and precision tapered thrust bearings; 8" and 10" models based on Series HS; 12" and 16" on Series EHD; and 18" through 25" on Series MD.
• Legs - plate steel, continuously welded inside and outside to horn base. Wheels mounted outside for optimum stability.
• Wheels - bolted type industrial duty with heavy-duty bearings; automotive type tapered roller bearings with grease seals standard in 16" and 18" sizes, straight roller bearings in all others.
• Axle Diameter - 3/4" on 8" and 10" models; 1" on 12" and 16" models; 1-1/4" on 18" through 25" models.
  Tires - 8", 10" and 12" sizes are 4-ply rated, 16" is 6-ply, the extra-rugged 18" is 8-ply and the super rugged 21" & 25" are 10-ply.
• Lubrication Fittings - to swivel assembly and to most wheel bearings.

These casters and wheels are deluxe models. Use them for very heavy duty service. They will handle any job that is practical to mount on pneumatics. The tires are mounted on wide base rims. This permits more air volume, more load capacity, stability and cushioning. Wheel bearings are tapered with dust seals. Note: model ordered may look different than photo above.

Cush-N-Aire Pneumatic Casters
7100 Series
Capacity up to 3,700 lbs. each

The new 7100 Series of pneumatic casters combine the proven heavy-duty forged steel of the 7000 series with the industry's most popular top plate -- 4" x 5". The 7100 series casters are also enhanced with a bright zinc plate finish to prevent rust and wear in indoor and outdoor applications. Because pneumatic-tired casters cushion loads and roll well on paved or concrete surfaces, this series is well-suited for aerospace ground support equipment (power towed and manual operation), and sensitive cargo such as military weaponry and any other miscellaneous equipment requiring extra care during transport.

STANDARD FEATURES

• Swivel Construction : drop forged steel mounting plate and horn base. Legs 1/4" thick on 8" and 10" models; 3/8" on 12", 16", 21" and 25"; and 1/2" on 18" models, welded inside and outside.
• Kingpin: integrally forged with mounting plate guaranteed for life not to bend or break, 3/4" diameter on 8" and 10" models; 1" diameter on 12"-18" models; and 1-1/4" dia. on 21" and 25" models.
• Main Load Bearing: large diameter raceway machined for hardened and polished steel balls.
• Secondary Load Bearing: precision tapered automotive roller bearing capped with grease retainer.
• Axle: bolt and nut type: 1/2" diameter on 8" and 10" roller bearing models; 3/4" diameter on 10" tapered bearing models and all 12" models; 1" diameter on all 16" and 18" models; 1-1/4" on 21" and 25" models.
• Wheel Bearings: 1-1/4" sealed precision tapered roller bearings in #S/R- 71210-PR and #S/R-71250-PR; 1" sealed precision tapered roller bearings in #S/R-71166-PR and #S/R-71188- PR; 3/4" sealed precision tapered roller bearings in #S/R-71104-PR and #S/R- 71124-PR. All others have straight roller bearings: 3/4" with spanner bushing in 8" and 10" models, 1" with bushing in 12" model, and 1" in #S/R-7116-PR.
• Tires: 8", 10", 12" and #7116-PR are 4-ply rated; #71166-PR is 6-ply rated; #71188-PR is 8-ply rated; 21" and 25" models are 10-ply rated.
